Through organizations such as the North Alabama Crisis Center and the Charlottesville Pregnancy

Center, I have acquired extensive experience in promoting and implementing health education

programs. These experiences, coupled with my educational background in health related issues,

have furthered my passion to help individuals develop healthy lifestyles and make educated

wellness decisions. My strong interpersonal skills and my ability to work with others, as

evidenced by my leadership positions detailed on my resume, would be a positive contribution to

your office. My experience advising student organizations in leadership positions I have held in

college have sharpened my public speaking skills, and I have gained survey research experience

through a number of courses, as noted on the attached list of relevant course work. In addition to

all of the qualifications listed in your on-line job description, I believe that I possess one

additional asset. As a new college graduate, I have an insider’s perspective and understanding of

the collegiate lifestyle and the health issues that go along with it. I can relate on a personal level to

this age group, which is a key component to the success of any educator.
